how to get back to the basics & simplify your health journey

The biggest mistake you're making when it comes to losing weight may just be that you're making things WAY more difficult than they have to be!

Restrictive diets like low carb, extreme low calorie (1200 cal or less), keto and fasting might sound straightforward.

"Just don't eat that!" or, "just don't eat until ___!"

But over time, as you learn about the next diet and the next diet and the next diet...

They just end up confusing your body & mind, messing with your metabolism & hormones, and leading to complicated + long-term issues (e.g. eating disorders).

The healthier, genuinely EASIER, and much more enjoyable route is to simply feed your body what it needs to keep you feeling full and satisfied all day long.

No restrictions, no rules, and no catches here.🥂

But what about fat loss? Can I achieve it if I'm not dieting?

I believe there are two awesome ways to STILL achieve your goals without restrictive diets.

⚡️ One great way is to practice counting macros AKA flexible dieting. There are many different opinions on this, but to me, counting macros is a great way to learn about your body's needs. If you have a tricky relationship with diets in the past, however, it may not be best for you.

I have always been all for a non-strict approach to tracking macros. I am not a bodybuilder, and I'm in no real rush to burn body fat. So if I take a day or a few days off from perfectly tracking, I don't get hung up about it. As long as I stay consistent over time, I can achieve significant results! And I've seen many of my clients discover the same thing.

⚡️ The second way is to intuitively, mindfully eat.

If you..

➡️ Are NOT a fan of tracking your food intake whatsoever

➡️ Have had a tricky history with tracking in the past (calories, macros, etc)

➡️ Would rather learn how to eat intuitively OR currently feel out of touch with your hunger signals already

➡️ Don't want to feel "stuck" to daily nutrition goals

Then intuitive, mindful eating might be a better path for you, AND it can absolutely lead to real, long-lasting results. Practicing this also helps you de-stress around food, make smart decisions, and eat less throughout the day naturally! A natural calorie deficit + lower cortisol levels + nutrient-dense foods = a magical trifecta for sustainable weight loss.
