Where my journey began…
For so many years, I struggled with my body and self-confidence.
Growing up, I was always active through playing soccer & lacrosse — although, I never felt like I was necessarily “fit.” I continued to gain weight & lose confidence as I progressed through college. During this time, I tried all of the fad diets, fat burning pills, & any training program that I could get my hands on, but still, none of them could provide me with what I was looking for.
It wasn’t until I graduated college that I decided it was time to stop taking the easy way out & stop feeling sorry for myself. I invested in myself & hired my first online personal trainer. I realized that if I didn’t put my health & well-being first, then who would? After 3 months of properly fueling & training my body, my life completely transformed — I felt confident for the first time in my entire life.
I stopped caring about the number on the scale & focused on what felt good for my body. After I finished with my personal trainer, I continued to teach myself new adjustments & techniques of exercises & nutritional habits. Ultimately, I learned to eat & train intuitively.
This experience of putting my health first fueled a fire within me to figure out how I could help others do the same. Putting my time and energy into learning what it took to be an effective coach, I expanded and improved my knowledge about nutrition and fitness — it became something I was incredibly passionate about. Now, I create customized nutrition and training programs that have given desirable results, not only physically, but mentally as well.
I am a huge advocate of an all encompassing approach when it comes to health and fitness, because without one aspect, you’re not going to see the desirable results. To see your physical changes, you first have to get your mindset right. I care deeply about each person who I work with, and I pay attention to the little things to really help make a difference. I wake up every single day EXCITED to give my clients the education & confidence that they need to see results & have a sustainable lifestyle. Health & wellness are what I’m passionate about, & helping to educate people about the importance of taking care of their own bodies & minds is a dream come true.
