How to master your meal prep

Getting your meal prep game on point is going to be a GAME CHANGER for you when it comes to keeping your healthy eating habits in check! As well as saving you a lot of time in your busy schedule. So here are my 3 top tips to help you master the art of meal prepping…

1. Plan ahead

The key to successful meal prep lies in effective planning. So get out your note pad and pen or a Google Doc if you’re a digital gal and create your weekly meal plan. Choose recipes that are easy enough to prepare in batches and think about a variety of ingredients to avoid monotony. Make a detailed shopping list and stick to it! Having a clear plan is going to save you time and minimize decision-making during the week.

2. Use time-saving techniques

This includes cooking in bulk, preparing larger portions of your proteins, using kitchen tools like slow cookers to prepare stews and soups with minimal effort. Wash and chop your veggies in advance and store them in airtight containers for easy access. Small things like this can save you so much time.

3. Stay organized

Keep your fridge and pantry organized to make meal prep a total breeze. Designate specific shelves or areas for prepped ingredients, so you can easily locate what you need. Label your containers with the date and contents to avoid confusion and ensure that you use the oldest meals first.

Mastering meal prep is a valuable skill that empowers you to make healthy choices effortlessly! Start implementing these tips and you'll be well on your way to a successful and sustainable meal prep routine.
